Work for this weekend has been programmed which will be centered on interruption of the road between the Gemini building and the communicatios hut, to continue with duct installation. This work will begin on Friday, March 10 after 6pm and will continue until Saturday, March 11. In order to not interrupt the normal circulation of vehicles in the area, there will always be a lane open and signalled for transit.
Saturday February 25th: There will be a water cut to repair a section located behind the warehouse on the west side of the motel. This work will be done starting at 08:30 hrs and will take approximately 3 hours. The affected areas will be the motel, modulux, warehouse and part of the NOAO administration building.
Monday February 27th: Continuation of the excavation jobs and replacemenet of concrete between the car wash area and instrument workshop.
This job is still ongoing but this week, work will begin on the camera located in the garden at the side of the NOAO Administration building and the computer room.
Tuesday February 21st: Excavation of the garden on the east side of administration
Wednesday February 22nd: One lane of to the access road to the modulux and parking will be sectioned off
Thursday February 23rd: Second lane to the access road to the modulux and parking will be sectioned off
Friday February 24th: Continuation with the excavations in the garden area near the computer room
There will be a water outage on Saturday, February 18 from 8:30am for 5 hours approximately. This outage will affect the Facilities area of the NOAO building, the Modulux building, Motel, Casa Verde, Warehouse, Garage and Instrument Shop.
