Pallets lift in La Serena Recinto | Izaje de Pallets en La Serena Recinto

- On Thursday, April 19th at 10:00 [am] a lift  will be carry out from outside of the Warehouse to Computer Room, all this maneuver will take around 30 minutes.

- This lift will be carried out by Crane Tower of Construction Site, so, the route will be closed for 30 minutes from 9:50 am until 10:20 am.

- Vehicles and pedestrians have to avoid the area detailed in the graph since the maneuvers will include suspended cargo.

- In the same way, it is requested to avoid the cargo area (warehouse front) and download area (computer room) while the lift is carry out.

Access restrictions:

  • It can not be entered from the door next to the drinks machine.
  • The corridor to the side of the building (that separated the building from the GHG site), is closed because the access ramp was installed for the works of Stage 4.
  • The Library that is in front of the old reception, It is being used by the LSST team so it is requested to transit as little as possible.

As of Tuesday, March 20, Construction Company Rencoret has started the remodeling works of Stage 4, starting with the removal of carpets in halls, parquet protection and interior ceiling.

The current accesses to the building are:

  • Current AURA reception
  • Old reception of the remodeled building

A partir del martes, 20 de marzo, Constructora Rencoret ha dado inicio a los trabajos de remodelacion de la Etapa 4, comenzando con el retiro de alfombras en pasillos y techumbre interior.

Water cut on Wednesday 3/21 | Corte de Agua el Miercoles 21/3

On Wednesday, March 21 from 5:30pm, water service to the scientific building will be cut in order to connect the fire hoses in stage 1 and 2 of the refurbishing project.

The cut will last 3 hours approximately.

El miércoles 21 de marzo a partir de las 17:30hrs se realizara un corte de suministro de agua potable en los edificios remodelados y en proceso de remodelación para conectar a la nueva red de alimentación de agua los carretes de incendio de las etapas 1 y 2 de la remodelación.

El corte de suministro de agua tendrá una duración aproximada de 3 horas.
