Work on the Recinto - Saturday, Feb. 16 | Trabajos en el Recinto - Sabado, Feb. 16

This Saturday, February 16 GHG will conduct work that involves a partial cut in the Recinto's circulation route. This means that during at least two hours on Saturday the main road will have only one lane available for vehicular transit. There will be signage in the area and the presence of flaggers in order to control the circulation of vehicles.

Relocation of Electrical Feeders | Reubicacion de Alimentadores Electricos

  • With the objective of relocating the electrical feeders, perforation work will take place on the area shown in the image
  • Also, part of the work will take place in the Electronic Lab
  • The noisy part of the work will be done after 5:30 on Friday 15 and the rest of the activities between Monday 18 and Tuesday 19
  • Con el objetivo de reubicar alimentadores eléctricos, se realizarán trabajos que involucran perforación con testigera en el sector señalado en la grafica

Road to New Office Building Closed | Cierre de Camino Acceso Nuevo Edificio

  • Due to work taking place in the parking lot in fron the NOAO building, the road detailed in the image will be closed
  • We recommend users (pedestrians and drivers) to follow the instructions in the area
  • Pay attention to movement of equipment, which will always be preceeded by a signaller
  • Por efecto de los trabajos en el estacionamiento frente al edificio NOAO, se deberá realizar un cierre del área detallada en la gráfica
  • Se recomienda a los usuarios (peatones y conductores ) seguir las instrucciones dispuestas en el área

Closing of Interior Patio | Cierre de Patio Interior

  • Beginning Monday, February 11 GHG will begin landscaping work in the area detailed in the image (patio in front of the lunch room)
  • This work will affect lunch room users since the usual access will be closed, for this reason access to the lunch room is available through the LSST offices (library)
  • For staff members who have lunch on the tables outside, AURA-O informed that the patio in Casa 8 is available if needed

Water Reconnection | Reconexion de Agua

2019 Feb 1 - 12:00pm
  • This Saturday, February 2 work on the water matrix reconnection will take place
  • The objective of this work is to connect the NOAO-AURA building to a network out of the area were the new parking lot is being built
  • This work might include programmed water cuts between 8am and 2:30pm which would affect the entire building
  • Este sabado, 2 de febrero se realizaran trabajos de reconexion de matriz de agua
