During the days 7, 8 and 9 of November 2017, the Safety Council Review was held in La Serena, during these three days the Council reviewers Richard Hislop, Mark Grushka and Charles Hoes had the opportunity to learn about the processes and systems that the project is using to ensure the safety is effectively integrated into the management processes, special emphasis had the Summit Construction Site and Base Facility Construction Site. Among the evaluations that the Council carried out include the Evaluation of the Communication Processes between the supervision of the project and the different contractors.

The Safety Council also counted with the participation of Victor Krabbendam, Chuck Gessner, Jacques Sebag, Joe Kenny, Brian Selvy, Chris Montgomery, Beth Willman, Bill Gressler, Giovanni Corvetto and Sandra Romero.

The members of the Council expressed at the end of the presentations and tours of the Construction sites were excellent demonstrating the safety integration in the project. In the words of the Safety Council LSST Project Management, continues demonstrating a high level of commitment to safety. 

Durante los días 7,8 y 9 de noviembre de 2017 se realizó en La Serena la Revision del Consejo de Seguridad, durante estos tres días los revisores del council  Richard Hislop, Mark Grushka, Charles Hoes tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer los procesos y sistemas que el proyecto está usando para garantizar que la seguridad se integre de manera efectiva en los procesos de gestión , especial énfasis tuvieron las áreas de construcción del proyecto Summit Construction Site y Base Facility Construction Site. Entre las evaluaciones que el Consejo realizo destacan la evaluación de los Procesos de Comunicación entre la supervisión del proyecto y las diferentes empresas contratistas.

El Consejo de Seguridad, además conto con la participación de Victor Krabbendam, Chuck Gessner, Jaques Sebag, Joe Kenny, Brian Selvy, Chris Montgomery, Beth Willman, Bill Gressler, Giovanni Corvetto y Sandra Romero.

Los miembros del Consejo expresaron al cierre de las sesiones que las presentaciones y recorridos por los sitios de construcciones fueron excelentes demostrando la integración  que tiene la seguridad en el proyecto. En palabras del Safety Council LSST Project Management continúa demostrando un alto nivel de compromiso con la seguridad.
