This meeting of the Rubin Observatory Science Advisory Committee (SAC) is open to all workshop attendees.
- 10:30-11 AM: The criteria that Rubin should use to transition from commissioning to “routine” operations. Discussion led by Bob Blum and Zeljko Ivezic. As time allows, we will also discuss how Target of Opportunity decisions will be taken by the Operations team.
- 11:00-11:30 AM: A report from the Rubin User’s Committee, and the readiness of the scientific community to start doing science once the data begin to flow. Discussion led by Igor Andreoni.
- 11:30 AM-12:00 PM: A report from the Rubin Data Management team, Leanne Guy, Eric Bellm, and Lynne Jones:
- Community Event Brokers
- Status of Image Differencing Algorithms
- Access to Template Images
- Creation of coadded data uniform in depth across fields.
