In-kind software and data products, IDACs, and You

This session will focus on the in-kind resources available to support computationally intensive workflows, their software, and data products.  We will review the computational resources and software and data interfaces provided by Independent Data Access Centers (IDACs); provide highlights from the experiences of community users running computationally intensive workflows; and discuss how to ensure long-term support and maintenance for the software and data products that such workflows will produce.

Contributed talks:

  • S51: Agnieszka Pollo - The status of Polish IDAC and in-kind programme
  • Stephen Gwyn – The Canadian IDAC: Lessons from running CANFAR at CADC
  • Tom Wilson – Developing and hosting Rubin crossmatches: a case study of working with an IDAC
  • Meg Schwamb and Tim Lister – Running solar system calculations at the CRO-RBI Bura HPC Center
