In this session, attendees will hear updates from the Survey Cadence Optimization Committee (SCOC) ahead of the Phase Four Observing Strategy Recommendation for the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) which will be released in September 2024 (the last SCOC recommendation to be released before the start of LSST). 

This session will cover SCOC recommendations for various aspects of the LSST observing strategy, and will present updated recommendations answering questions left open in the past SCOC recommendation (PSTN-055) including: filter balance, exposure times, rolling cadence in the Wide-Fast-Deep and special regions, and strategy for Deep Drilling Fields and the Rubin Target of Opportunity program.
