Rubin First Light is less than a year away! The First Light Communications group will present Rubin's progressing plans for a big First Light media splash and other celebrations, and we encourage scientists and students who want to plan events in their locations to connect with us. We'll share the developing plans for what Rubin images will be available and on what timescale, and offer general advice for interacting with the press office at your institution.

Also in this session, Rubin's Education and Public Outreach team is working with other Rubin supporters and stakeholders on big plans for wowing a broad, public audience with Rubin's first images and helping people get excited about Rubin science. Come learn about how you can get involved, catch up on what resources are already available, and give your input on what else we can provide.
