Impacts of chromatic point spread function: dependence on filters and observing strategy

Abstract: We investigate the impacts of two chromatic effects on the point spread function (PSF): differential chromatic refraction and chromatic seeing. In particular, we aim to quantify the impact of both chromatic effects on the size and shape of the PSF for the different LSST filters and for the airmass distributions for different proposed observing strategies.
