Modeling the Point Spread Function

Chairs: Claire-Alice Hebert

In this session we will discuss the status and performance of point spread function (PSF) modeling capabilities both in the Data Management (DM) science pipelines (i.e., the Piff package) and in external development. We will also discuss requirements on PSF-PSF correlation functions (rho statistics and 4th order moment analogs) for DESC cosmic shear analyses.

Please contact the session chair with any questions, or if you'd like to volunteer to speak or help with this session.
