Abstract: This poster highlights the latest enhancements to the Vera C. Rubin Observatory’s Active Optics Control System (AOS), featuring the integration of advanced safeguards designed to constrain the corrections issued by the AOS and protect the mirrors. Additionally, we present preliminary results from refining Look-Up Tables (LUTs) through closed-loop corrections, which adapt based on environmental variables. These improvements, along with various other minor updates, are aimed at optimizing the overall performance of the system. The developments discussed here are critical steps toward the successful commissioning and full operational readiness of the observatory, ensuring the achievement of the required image quality for future scientific discoveries.
