Citizen Science with Rubin data will be an exciting time for both our science community and the public alike. The Rubin CitSci team (from EPO and CST) are planning ahead to support project development and nurture an active community of volunteers. 

In this session, we will cover:

• A brief intro to citizen science
• Our plans for the Rubin citizen science program and its connection to the Zooniverse
• An interactive discussion about project possibilities and ideas and finding inspiration from existing projects on the Zooniverse (bring your laptop if you want to!)
• Open discussion about what tools our community (you!) most need to effectively lead projects
