Career Pathways for Students

Session Goals:

This is a session aimed at supporting students as they navigate modern career pathways and seeks to provide students with professional development resources for astronomy-related roles inside and outside of academia.

Agenda:

The session will include a panel discussion from students, postdocs, engineers, observers, professors, and other professionals.

4:00PM - 4:30PM The panel members will introduce themselves, describe their pathway to their current role, and provide any advice they have for students taking a similar pathway.

4:30PM - 5:30PM The panel members will participate in a Q&A session. The questions can be asked in person, or submitted to the session chair prior to the start of the session.
