In this informal session we will discuss Rubin Observatory's carbon footprint. We will present the work that has been done at NOIRLab on estimating the Rubin's carbon footprint, efforts being made to reduce it, and current work on estimating the footprint of Operations.

How it works: Bring your own lunch, or eat first and then join us. The morning sessions end at 12pm and the brown bag social starts at 12:45pm, so that everyone has 45 minutes to go and buy food (or order delivery). We will end by 1:45pm, with 15 minutes to spare before afternoon sessions start at 2pm.
