Solar System Prompt Processing Results and Pipelines

Solar system data, with frequent and (by RCW) regular public submissions to the MPC present one of the first large-scale opportunities for early solar system science. However, due to delays in LSST start and template generation, Rubin at present discovers solar system objects in ways different than originally planned. This session will provide an in-depth description of how solar system objects are discovered and reported by Rubin: from building and linking on "transient catalogs", linking on difference images, associating known sources on both, as well as other related topics needed for both scientists and Rubin engineers to be aware of.
