Stars, Milky Way, and Local Volume

This session will cover early science results on stars and the Milky Way, and will include discussions on the Rubin performance for static stellar science cases. Topics might include astrometry, star-galaxy separation, crowded field pipelines, prompt image source catalogs, and comparisons to Gaia. Reach out to the session chair to inquire about space to speak in this session.
