Unconference
Three sessions for which the topics are proposed and voted on by in-person workshop attendees.
How to propose a topic: Write your idea on a sticky note and place it on the Unconference board, leaving space to the right of it for people to vote. Markers and sticky notes are provided.
How to vote for topics: On the Unconference board, right next to a topic you like, write a "I" to add your vote. It's OK if you vote more than once.
Rooms are assigned Wednesday after lunch: Topics with the most votes will be assigned to the three breakout rooms. This page will be updated and the results announced in Slack.
Go have fun! The Unconference sessions are not preplanned, and so have no chairs and no agendas. They are typically informal discussions or co-working sessions, but sometimes have impromptu presentations. Please organize amongst yourselves and identify people in the room to facilitate the discussion. If there is a volunteer note-taker, a summary topic posted in the Rubin Community Forum would be awesome but is not mandatory.
