Visa requirements

 Passport holders of most European countries as well as the US do not require Visa for a short stay in Serbia. You can check

Travel to/from Belgrade:

Belgrade Airport "Nikola Tesla" is located some 20 km from the City of Belgrade. There is a shuttle bus service from/to airport to/from the city Terminal in front of the Hotel "Slavija".

There is a regular rail and bus service from major European cities to Belgrade. You can also come to Belgrade by car using highways E70 and E75.

Getting around:

Taxis and international car rental services are available at the airport, as well as in the city. For the use of taxi services from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport to any destination in Belgrade area and further, please contact the city service TAXI INFO desk, located in the baggage reclaim area. Using this service the price of a taxi service from the airport is fixed and divided into 6 zones, see price list .

Public transport

There is public transport from/to the airport: Minibus line A1 (300 RSD = 2.5E) and bus line 72 (150 RSD = 1.25E, 90 min time-limited ticket)

Within the city, you can use public transport with other tickets (single, daily, etc). We recommend 3-days ticket (720 RSD = 6E) which can be used unlimited times at all lines in the city during 3x24 hours.

Taxi within city is affordable. Start is 170 RSD and rate is 65 RSD/km during the day and 85 RSD (.71)during the night. We recommend to call taxi by phone as there are  quite few ilegal ones who might charge you exuberant fares.

Tourist Organization of Belgrade

Money: Serbian currency is dinar. The rate of exchange is 120 dinars per euro. Participants may exchange their convertible currencies for dinars in all hotels, banks, exchange offices, travel agencies and airport.
